Sweatshop: Presenting in International Contexts

2.30-6pm. Free. To book, email advisoryservice@artsadmin.co.uk with a short introduction to your practice and why you’d like to attend. Please note the date of this workshop has been changed since our printed leaflet was produced and is now taking place on 14 November.

Join us for a discussion-based, practical workshop on how to plan to present work internationally, led by Michael Norton, Artists' Advisor, and Nicky Childs, Senior Artists' Producer. We will consider a range of successful strategies for contemporary artists looking to reach outside of the UK.

Who is it for?
This workshop is designed for artists and producers who have already found success in presenting their work in the UK and are now looking to move their work internationally.

What is the workshop content?
We will look at different approaches to making and presenting work, talk about how to strategically build a network of support, and create strategies for supporting work financially.

Artsadmin’s expertise and experience lie in performance and live art, and so places for Sweatshops are best suited to artists working directly in these fields. You can let us know your access requirements ahead of time by emailing access@artsadmin.co.uk.
