Reworkings Of Previous Performances marks the culmination of Lily Johnson’s bursary supported by Artsadmin.

With a theatre stage as site, she explores the oscillation between her drawings and her performances past, present and future.

 Lily’s work could be said to be about certain things leaking through, about porosity of form. She uses drawing, word play, costume and object making to develop performances, often as a response to a specific idiosyncratic site. These sites have included swimming pools, offices, rotundas, greenhouses and churches. 

 For Reworkings of Previous Performances, Lily has been working with the artist Tim Spooner as mentor.
