Sweatshop – Grants for the Arts

GRANTS FOR THE ARTS
2.30-6pm, free.
***SOLD OUT***

Artsadmin Sweatshops are informal hands-on sessions for artists focusing on a key area of artistic or professional development.

Join us for a discursive and practical workshop on how to apply to Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts scheme as an individual artist. Artsadmin producers and advisors will share tips, example applications and approaches with the aim to support artists applying for funding.

The Sweatshop is best suited to those who are in the process of writing an application or have a clear idea of a project they want to apply for. Please feel welcome to bring draft applications and an openness to share ideas, advice and dilemmas.

Artsadmin supports artists working in live art and performance and so places for Sweatshops are available only to artists working directly in these fields.

This Sweatshop will be BSL interpreted in partnership with ShapeArts. Please let us know of any access requirements at time of booking.

This will be a discursive, free session for up to twelve artists. To book, email advisoryservice@artsadmin.co.uk by 11 September with a short introduction to your practice and why you’d like to attend the Grants for the Arts Sweatshop.

Please make sure you are able to attend before reserving a place.
